Solihull’s Parks and Gardens

Incredibly, Solihull is almost 80% open space, despite being so close to England’s second city. Solihull Borough Council takes great pride in maintaining numerous pretty green areas. These include parks, gardens and wildlife areas. Solihull can boast a number of Britain in Bloom awards and it is quite possible to cross right across town without having to set foot on a major roadway.

Brueton Park is a wildlife area in the centre of Solihull that is perfect for a picnic. It is a great spot for children and organises frequent child-friendly activities.

Ten minutes’ drive away is Elmdon Park. This is a larger country park, with beautiful scenery and a lake to discover.

The National Trust owned Bromwich Hall Gardens can be found to the north of Solihull. These wonderful 18th century walled gardens are also home to a holly maze, fruit trees, vegetable gardens and a gift shop.
