"Nasty lady trying to charge more and said my parcels were too big"

I would like to think I am very friendly, I walked up to the counted, smiled and said please can I post these 3 parcels 2nd class royal mail.

I then grinned, knowing my 1st parcel was on the bigger side of a large letter and said can I get away with this as a letter. she rudely put me in my place and said no.

Then my next parcel, defiantly a small parcel, she tried to make out was a medium even though it was very small, and fitted with lots of space in the small box. Then, when it came to paying, I noticed it was more than I thought it would be, but just thought I had added it up wrong. When I got the receipt it said I had been charged 1st class even though I asked several times for 2nd class, this is quite a step up in price, especially when you are selling things on eBay for £1 and needing to post them.

When I went back to say oh sorry I think you have charged me 1st she said to the next person she was serving "what does she want?!". I was so embarrassed I just left. I post things quite often and I have never had anyone be so rude and make me feel so small! I would not go back here again even if it means driving to another post office. :(.
