"Really gone down hill .... "

I have never written a review about a chip shop before, but I was so unimpressed with the service and food just now I thought I'd leave a review before it disappears from my mind. There was one customer in front of us, two people behind the counter. We had to unnecessarily wait ten minutes in an empty shop (not for the chips to cook- the chips had definitely been sat there for a while!) Not sure what the man behind the counter was doing but customer service wasn't high on his agenda.

When we eventually got the chips, they had a brownish speckle on them i.e the oil needed changing- and the pie we asked for was not even luke-warm. This used to a good place for chips, but I won't be going there again. I'm writing this and hoping I don't get food poisoning from the pie! Fingers crossed...

As we were being eventually served by the girl, a regular came in because the man behind counter said Hi to her, then he served her straight away! We'd been in there 10 minutes he didn't bother serving us. Really shoddy. .
